By Ferry Boat 

The island of Mykonos can be reached by ferry, flying dolphin, hydrofoil or catamaran from the ports of Piraeus, Rafina and Thessaloniki. Mykonos also has daily ferries to all the islands of the Cyclades, the Dodecanese and Crete.

The trip from Piraeus to Mykonos with a regular ferry takes approximately 6 hours while the same trip from Rafina takes about 5 hours. High Speed ferries take approximately half of the time but cost twice as much.

By Airplane 

The cosmopolitan island of Mykonos can also be reached by air. There are direct flights to Mykonos from many European countries as well as frequent daily flights from the airport of Athens “Eleutherios Venizelos” and the airports of Thessaloniki, Rhodes, Santorini and Heraklion in Crete during the peak season.

The journey from Athens to Mykonos takes approximately 25 minutes.
